Robbie Irlam Artist

Robbie Irlam is one of the most talented and interesting artists in the area. If he is not busy capturing an excellent array of images at Supertubes you will find him most approachable at the the Grand Prix legendary surfers pub across from Da Gama road from the Magna Tubes surf break.

In Robbie`s own words :

” Art has always been my passion since my school days. Later in life, I dabbled with watercolours and eventually painted with oils. I Spend a good few months under the tutorship of one Bob McKenzie in Queenstown. Mostly landscapes of the areas surrounding the town. Twelve years settled in Jeffreys Bay and, the ocean being my passion, I began painting mostly seascapes of the area. Other interests are surf photography, sculpting, wood and leatherwork. “
